Gaille Hunter

Singer-Songwriter

Gaille has written her own “Smooth Blues” repertoire with New Orleans' musician Ed Wise producing her tracks and charts.  She has performed at Philadelphia venues such as the 7165 Lounge in Mount Airy, the Clef Club, and Café at the Mills in East Falls.

An almost eclectic offering of originals, singer-songwriter Gaille Hunter has released her 2017 musical project.

A variety of co-writers and producers have teamed up with Gaille to present music with mass appeal. Addressing relevant issues from internet intimacy to family values and sexual prowess to reflective independence, Gaille's original lyrics engage listeners captive, delightfully.

Familiar with the life of a touring musician, studio musician (lead as well as background), dramatic theater, and visual arts, Gaille has honed her creativity and enjoys sharing her talents.

Gaille is a graduate of the Philadelphia University of the Arts as a multi-talented artist. She received the 2007 Creative Artist Award from the National Association of University Women. Gaille’s paintings debuted in February 2002 at the October Gallery, Philadelphia’s premiere African American art venue. “Country Porch”, one of the pieces included in her series entitled “Silhouette Children”, was exhibited in the Philadelphia African American Museum’s 2006 commemorative exhibition – “Silent Voices, Loud Echoes”.
